  • In the human male, the urethra is about 8 inches (20 cm) long and opens at the end of the penis. The urethra provides an exit for urine froms the ebladder as well as semen from vasa defferentia during ejaculation. Thus, it is know as urogenital duct. It has three regions. Vasa defferentia collects sperm from, inside the testis and tronsfers them to epididymis through rete testis. Ureters are the tubes that convey urine from the kidney to urinary bladder.
